Anxiety is a very normal part of being human - without it we would all be lemmings walking into things. It helps to keep us safe in life BUT it can become overwhelming and when it starts to rule your life - that's when it’s time to reclaim your mental fitness!
Before starting the journey to improve your mental health it's important to know that your brain is soft wired, not hard wired. Although you’re feeling this way at the moment, it's not how you’re going to feel forever. It takes 66 days for your brain to create a new neural pathway so you can re-train your brain to literally change the way you think - you just need to give it some loving attention.
In the same way you workout to improve your physical fitness you need to workout to improve your mental fitness - you don’t get rock hard abs after one session at the gym. The good news is, it doesn’t have to be for long each day.
This 8 week online course has been uniquely designed to empower you with a number of tools and techniques that will help combat anxiety - improving both your mental and physical wellbeing. All you need to do is make a commitment to yourself that it's time to take back control of your anxiety and make your head happy again.
There is no group sharing over the 8 weeks, it's very much your own journey and you’ll be sent information at the beginning of the week to set you up for the week ahead.

The weeks are broken down into the following topics:
Week 1 - Understanding Anxiety
Week 2 - Body & Breath
Week 3 - Being Present
Week 4 - Improving Sleep
Week 5 - Negative Beliefs
Week 6 - Focus & Memory
Week 7 - Positivity & Happiness
Week 8 - Increasing Confidence
Each week you’ll receive an email that includes:
A video - explaining the topic, breathing techniques (mini meditations) visualisation description and several weeks include Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping)
Information on the subject of that week - what it means and how better understanding it helps reduce anxiety
Meditation recording - for you to use that week (you’ll get a different one each week)
Digital Detox - small challenges each week to help clear your mind from unnecessary information overload
Weekly practice - this is a summary that includes hints and tips for that week along with some personal practice for you to do
Give yourself some time on the Sunday to digest the information (approx 1 hr) and then each day you’ll be doing approximately 10 mins of meditation in the morning (sometimes at night) Each week is different but it has been designed so that you choose how to fit it into your week - what you put in, you get out!
