It’s normal to have anxieties and worries during pregnancy because it’s such a huge time of transformation. Your body is busy intuitively building your baby and your brain is going through more changes than at any other stage in your life, phew that’s a lot!

I used tapping throughout both of my pregnancies and it really helped me in so many ways:

* Tapping helped keep me calm on the days my mind would start racing.

* Tapping helped me process my fears around whether my baby was safe and growing in the right way.

* Tapping built my confidence in becoming a parent for the first time and the worries I had about being a mum of two.

* Tapping helped me to process my emotions throughout pregnancy.

* Tapping helped me to deeply connect with my body.

* Tapping helped me to prepare for a c section and process the fears I had around it (my first baby was breach and I was told they didn’t have midwives who specialise in breech natural births so I had a planned C section).

* Tapping helped me to overcome the self doubt I had around birthing my son naturally and I went on to have a truly magical, natural birth.

* Tapping helped me navigate the postpartum haze when I was exhausted and figuring out parenting for the first time.

* Tapping helped energise my nervous system on the days when I was so sleep deprived I felt like I was on a boat.

* Tapping helped me reduce anxiety throughout the whole process which helped me be a better mother.

Becoming pregnant is a truly magical time in life but it’s also really challenging both mentally and physically. Your body changes rapidly, you may feel sick and tired, worried about birth, finances, or trying to get your head around the fact that you’re about to become a new parent or adding another to your brood, it’s a lot.

I used tapping throughout both of my pregnancies to help me reduce any anxieties that came up and to also help me deeply trust in my bodies ability to grow and birth my baby. I was able to have two very positive and very different birth experiences and these greatly helped me navigate the postpartum haze.

This 30 min session on 22nd July @12pm includes:

* Insight into pregnancy and birth and the many different emotions that can arise.

* The power of self belief.

* Breathwork that is perfect to calm both you and your baby.

* Tapping to release any pregnancy anxieties that you might be having, overcome self doubt and increase your confidence in the power of your body

TAPPING DURING PREGNANCY

Pregnancy is a magical time but it can also be mentally and physically challenging. Your body is going through so many changes, you may have morning sickness, aches and pains, raging hormones, worries about the baby, birth and beyond - it's a big transition! Is my baby safe? Will I cope with birth? Will I be a good mum? Am I eating the right things? How is my life going to change? Will I be able to handle sleep deprivation?

Anxiety during pregnancy is totally normal and every person will have a different thing that's worrying them. It's more important than ever to nurture your mind during pregnancy because this helps you to be as mentally strong as possible postpartum. Regularly tuning in to identify and process your worries is a powerful way to make you feel calm, grounded and empowered throughout the whole journey.

Trying to get pregnant can be really stressful and it's hard to not let it consume your thoughts because you know when your cycle is and you know when it hasn't worked that month. Social media can also make it tens times harder, when you feel like everyone else around you is pregnant or has a baby already. Miscarriage is also hugely challenging both mentally and physically and sadly so common for a lot of women. Unless you've been through it, it's hard to describe just how tough it is.

Every woman's fertility journey will be different and there may be many challenges that come your way. While you can't control everything you may face, you can control your thoughts and your mindset to ensure it doesn't become overwhelming.

Tapping is a powerful tool to help you overcome your negative thoughts and reframe the way you think. The physical tapping also helps to bring your nervous system back into balance which is exactly what you need when your body and mind are going through so much.
