Build Emotional Resilience

Navigate life’s challenges feeling more calm and confident

Emotional resilience is the ability to navigate challenges, adapt to change and recover from setbacks by learning and growing. In the workplace, where pressures are high, priorities shift quickly and unexpected challenges arise, resilience is essential, not just for managing stress, but for staying focused, communicating effectively and contributing positively to your team.

Build Emotional Resilience is a four week programme designed to help employees develop these skills in a practical, supportive way. Through guided exercises, reflective practices and simple daily tools, participants will learn to cultivate self awareness, regulate their nervous system, reduce stress, create healthy habits and befriend their inner critic, creating space for them to feel calmer and more confident both in and out of the workplace.

What Qualities Do Emotionally Resilient People Have?

  • Self Awareness - they notice how they’re feeling throughout the day and understand what their triggers are, helping them respond to difficult situations more effectively

  • Emotional Regulation - they understand the importance of a strong self care practice, prioritising their mind and have effective techniques to identify and process their emotions.

  • Befriend Their Inner Critic - they speak kindly to themselves, understand when their inner critic is speaking loudly and don’t allow limiting beliefs to hold them back.

  • Healthy Boundaries - they know when to switch off, ask for support or say no, understanding that protecting their energy is essential for a healthy work life balance.

  • Optimism and perspective - they keep things in context focusing on what’s going well, seeing the bigger picture, learning and growing from their mistakes, trusting that stressful moments will pass.

  • Adaptability - they can adjust when plans change or challenges arise, seeing change as something to navigate rather than something to fear.

  • The Power of Connection - they lean on trusted colleagues, friends or mentors. They know that resilience doesn’t mean doing it all alone.

  • Not Afraid To Fail - they grow and learn from each challenge they face.

  • Problem Solving Mindset - they focus on what they can do, not just what’s out of their control.
