Reduce Stress & Anxiety Programme
Calm your mind and find inner peace
Anytime you feel stressed or anxious your amygdala (brain's fear response) has been triggered and your nervous system goes into high alert (also known as the fight or flight response). Your body fills with cortisol, which is a stress hormone, adrenalin races through your body, your digestive system slows down, heart races, muscles tense and your thinking brain goes off line - your body is primed to fight what it perceives as a threat.
When you are in the fight or flight mode it's hard to focus, think clearly, feel calm and regulate your emotions. This is why it’s so important to teach staff effective ways to regulate their nervous system because we can’t control what the working day will throw at us but we can control how we react.
This four week reduce stress and anxiety programme empowers staff with science backed techniques that allow them to feel more calm, grounded and present. Helping them reduce stress and anxiety, strengthen their mind and get to the core route of their triggers.
