Burnout occurs when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands. In a recent report by Deloitte they said “63% of respondents said they were exhibiting at least one characteristic of burnout, feeling of exhaustion, mental distance from their job, or decline in performance at work, an increase from 51% in 2021.”

Anytime you feel stressed or anxious your nervous system goes into the fight or flight response (sympathetic nervous system) and gets primed to fight a perceived threat (heart races, digestive system slows down, muscles tense, breathing gets shallow)

In short doses this stress response is fine as your nervous system is able to come back into a place of balance (parasympathetic). The problem arises when you are feeling chronically stressed, which can often happen in the workplace. Too much cortisol in the body means it simply cannot function properly, which is why burnout has such a damaging impact on both your physical and mental wellbeing.
This four week burnout prevention programme gives employees the tools to stop burnout in its tracks, empowering them with simple ways to bring their nervous systems back into balance making them feel more calm, confident and focussed.

What does the programme include?

Set across 4 weeks the Burnout Prevention Programme includes:

  • 2 x In person Burnout Prevention workshops. These can be done in person, online or a combination of the two.

  • 4 x guided meditations (one per week) to reduce stress and anxiety, improve their sleep and increase their self belief.

  • Weekly challenges that bring a sense of inner peace back into their mind and body.

  • 4 x tapping videos (one per week) to watch that will help them reduce anxiety, overcome their negative thoughts and prevent burnout.

  • Resources for each week to help them understand burnout and what’s happening inside their nervous system, what to do when they’re feeling overwhelmed and simple techniques for creating a better work / life balance.

  • Direct contact with me throughout. Staff can email me anytime if they want to ask questions or need some extra support throughout the programme.
